This is Darius’ progress in the last 10 months or so – the most significant improvements coming, coincidentally or not, soon after receiving treatment.
He never did this (sitting unsupported on this stool) so proficiently (for so long, w/o support, w/o toppling off) before treatment…
A little more than 6 minutes of video, and he was still sitting there after David stopped recording, took the camera to his computer, turned the video into a Quicktime movie, transferred it to portable media, gave the memory card to me, and I sat and watched him still sitting there for awhile, then I got up to come post it here, and he was still sitting there!
That is such a wonderful improvement, and he even checked himself at the end when he coughed, so he didn’t topple off. Great news!

Compare his right arm in this video with the earlier “sitting” videos…his arm and hand are much more relaxed now, too!
An amazing difference. He seemed to be really enjoying himself, also. I love that smile.
Wow, he wants to get up and go. That will be next. He is using both arms, looking around, eager to go. THat is so great you guys. Thanks for sharing.

You must be so excited! What a wonderful thing to see. He’s sitting strong, his little bare feet are feeling the carpet, he’s moving his arms…. he caught himself while coughing. What a clever boy. The next step is crawling.

I’ve been watching and learning about Darius thru’ Jackie. I’m so proud of this little guy.
Way to go Darius! I am so happy to see such progress. Have been watching this little guy since he was born and my prayers have been with him since day one. He wants to Go! One day he will take off. I am also so proud of him.
